Chemical Dosing For The Surface Finishing Industry
We work with many customer in the surface finishing industry and provide both measurement and control equipment for the process control side and the effluent treatment side.
As the finishing industry can be a big user of water and of chemical reagents we've developed a number of solutions based upon our conductivity controllers to offer a significant reduction in both the amount of water and the amount of chemicals that are used.
In addition to our conductivity controllers we provide chemical dosing pumps which are designed to precisely meter chemical reagents into a process. The dosing pumps are designed to operate with concentrated chemical reagents with wetted parts designed for use in even the most hostile environments.
We've developed a range of ampere hour meters which are specifically designed for the plating industry and provide a way of automatically regulating one of our dosing pumps based upon the current flowing through a plating bath - often this is used to automatically administer plating chemicals into the plating bath.
From the the effluent treatment side we regularly supply both pH control, chemical dosing and industrial mixers to ensure that effluent streams are neutralised and monitored to adhere to a consent to discharge agreement.
Applications
Our products are used for numerous applications within the surface finishing industry, most notably:-
- Ampere Hour meters for automatically administering plating bath chemicals
- Rinse water controllers to reduce the amount of water (demineralised or towns) in a rinse water tank
- Solution strength control to automatically top-up chemical reagent into a treatment tank
- pH neutralisation and pH dosing equipment for process treatment and effluent treatment.
- Redox controlled system for chrome reduction.
