Microprocessor Dosing Pump Series
Our AT-MT range of microprocessor controlled chemical dosing pumps are accurate and reliable chemical dosing pumps suitable for industrial processes in water treatment, effluent treatment or process control applications.
The microprocessor controlled pumps are supplied with sophisticated built-in software designed to ensure simplify a number of common chemical dosing tasks. The software is controlled from integrated push buttons and bright backlit alphanumeric LCD display which prompts the user to ensure that setting up the pump is as straightforward as possible.
The AT-MT series pumps are available across our AT1 to AT4 ranges offering a maximum flow rate up to 60 Litres / Hour and a maximum pressure of 20.0 Bar.
The different dosing modes available are listed below:
Dosing Pump Proportional to 4-20mA Input
The AT-MT series of dosing pump can dose proportional to a 4-20mA signal. Unlike our other chemical dosing pumps which stop dosing at 4mA and output a maximum flow rate at 20mA (either 100% or a user volume), the AT-MT series can fully configure the 4-20mA control signal. This means that the a number of modes can be selected including:-
- Invert the 4-20mA signal (e.g. 100% at 4mA and 0% at 20mA)
- Expand the 4-20mA signal (e.g. dose at 0% at 8mA and 100% at 12mA
- Select a flow rate to dose at based on the 4-20mA signal - the figure can be entered in Percentage, frequency, L/Hr, Gph or ml / min.
Dosing Pump Proportional to Pulsed Input
The AT-MT series can be programmed to dose proportional to a pulsed input. Commonly the pulsed input is supplied from a pH controller to improve efficiency in pH correction applications, or from a water meter for flow proportional dosing.
Using the built in AT-MT software the pulsed input signal can me manipulated in the pumps software to provide the following functions:-
- The signal can be multiplied from a factor of 1:n where 1 pulsed input equals n strokes, n can be any number from 1 to 999.
- The signal can be divided from a factor of n:1 where n pulsed input equals 1 strokes, and n can be any number from 1 to 999.
In addition the AT-MT has a flow verification input as well as a memory function to store the number of incoming pulses.
PPM Dosing Pump
The AT-MT also offers a PPM dosing mode, this allows a calibrated pump to maintain a PPM rate in a pipeline or flow by dosing proportional to a water meter. Using the incoming pulsed signal the AT-MT automatically calculates the relationship between incoming signals and pump strokes to ensure the desired PPM value is maintained.
This makes the AT-MT ideal as a chlorine dosing pump or a sodium hypochlorite dosing pump as the concentration of the chemical can be entered into the pump, e.g, 12% sodium hypochlorite.
Batch Dosing Pump
Using the built in software the AT-MT can be programmed to operate as a batch dosing pump. In batch dosing mode the mode the AT-MT can be configured to deliver a set volume of chemical - the range is from 0 - 30'000ml (30.000 litres) which can be triggered on the pump itself or from a remote signal, either a volt free contact or from a pulsed input. The pump will then dose the desired amount of chemical when the signal is received. There are further modes for the time to deliver the chemical, the percentage flow rate and memory function for signal inputs.
Timer Dosing Pump
In timer dosing mode the pump can be set to deliver a set volume of chemical (0 - 30'000ml or 0 - 30.000 Litres) at set times. The pump can be started from a volt free contact signal or directly from the pump. The pump can be set with a delay timer so that it begins dosing at a set time, and also an interval timer between two successive doses. The timers can be set in Days, Hours and Minutes.
AT-MT Series
In addition to the dosing modes, the AT-MT series each includes a number of inputs and outputs including:-
- Alarm relay output
- Pause / Remote start / stop
- Flow sensor / flow verification input
- Volt Free / Low level input
The AT-MT pumps are configured in such a way that they can be wired to work together. For instance - the alarm relay output from one pump can be wired into the pause input of a second pump, and the second pump wired to the first in the same manner. Then in a flow verification signal, low chemical level or another alarm condition occur both pumps will stop operating. Ideal if two separate chemicals are to be metered into a process as a ratio of one another.
