Hot Water Meter
Our range of cold water meters are designed to measure the volume of hot clean water passing through the water meter. The temperature of the water passing through the water meter can be up to 90°C and a pressure of 10 Bar.
Designed for process control applications our hot water meter range are commonly used on supply water flowing into heat exchangers for boiler water processing, recirculating hot water lines, batch controllers and any other piece of process plant requiring the volume of hot water in it to be accurately measured and totalised.
Hot Water Meter Installation
Our hot water meters are supplied with BSP threaded couplings allowing the water meters to be directly installed into pipework as a permanent measuring device.
The high sensitivity turbine drives a large accurate gear chain to give precision measurements for the non-resettable totalising counter as well as driving a pulse output corresponding to the flow rate.
Hot Water Meter Pulsed Output
The pulsed output from each of the brass bodied hot water meters is a volt free signal corresponding to the water meters rated K Factor or Constant.
Our full range of hot water meters are listed below:-
Hot Water Meter Range
CTCI 15
The CTCI 15 is a 15mm or 1/2" BSP threaded hot water meter designed to accurately measure the volume of hot water passing through it.
The CTCI 15 as a 1/2" BSP threaded hot water meter is suitable for a maximum flow rate of 1.5 m3 / Hr and has a K Constant of K=1.0, giving a pulsed out of 1 pulse per 1 Litre.
In addition to the pulsed output the CTCI 15 has a non-resettable mechanical counter located on the face of the water meter.
CTCI 20
The CTCI 20 is a 20mm or 3/4" BSP threaded hot water meter designed to accurately measure the volume of hot water passing through it.
The CTCI 20 as a 3/4" BSP threaded hot water meter is suitable for a maximum flow rate of 2.5 m3 / Hr and has a K Constant of K=1.0, giving a pulsed out of 1 pulse per 1 Litre.
In addition to the pulsed output the CTCI 20 has a non-resettable mechanical counter located on the face of the water meter.
CTCI 25
The CTCI 25 is a 25mm or 1" BSP threaded hot water meter designed to accurately measure the volume of hot water passing through it.
The CTCI 25 as a 1" BSP threaded hot water meter is suitable for a maximum flow rate of 3.5 m3 / Hr and has a K Constant of K=1.0, giving a pulsed out of 1 pulse per 1 Litre.
In addition to the pulsed output the CTCI 25 has a non-resettable mechanical counter located on the face of the water meter.
CTCI 30
The CTCI 30 is a 30mm or 1 1/4" BSP threaded hot water meter designed to accurately measure the volume of hot water passing through it.
The CTCI 30 as a 1 1/4" BSP threaded hot water meter is suitable for a maximum flow rate of 5.0 m3 / Hr and has a K Constant of K=1.0, giving a pulsed out of 1 pulse per 1 Litre.
In addition to the pulsed output the CTCI 30 has a non-resettable mechanical counter located on the face of the water meter.
