Flanged Water Meter
When the flow or volume of clean water passing through large diameter pipework needs to be accurately measured our CWFA range of flanged water meters are an ideal solution.
The CWFA series of water meters with flanged connections are manufactured with a coated cast iron body housing a high sensitivity turbine and impulse sender which drives the large accurate mechanical gear train.
Our range of flanged water meters are designed to measure the volume of cold clean water, such as towns water supplies to industrial premises, predominantly used for electroplating lines, evaporative cooling tower make up water or another industrial process where the volume of clean water passing through the flanged water meter has to be accurately measured and totalised.
The temperature of the water passing through the water meter can be up to 30°C and a pressure of 16 Bar.
Flanged Water Meter Installation
Our flanged water meters are constructed with a 4 hole or 8 hole flange which is designed to bolted into pipework as a permanent measuring device.
The high sensitivity turbine drives a large accurate gear chain to give precision measurements for the non-resettable totalising counter as well as driving a pulse output corresponding to the flow rate.
Flanged Water Meter Pulsed Output
The pulsed output from each of the brass bodied water metres is a volt free signal corresponding to the water meters rated K Factor or Constant.
Our full range of cold water meters are listed below:-
